Description
The Bull Moose, also known as the North American Moose, is a large mammal found in Canada, Alaska, and some parts of the northern United States. They are known for their distinct antlers, which can be up to 6 feet wide on a mature bull. During the fall, the moose's coat changes to a reddish-brown color. The Flehmen response is a behavior exhibited by male moose, and other ungulates, during the breeding season. They will curl their upper lip and inhale deeply to detect the scent of estrus females. This is typically seen in the fall when the breeding season is taking place.
