As you quietly walk through the Fall woods, you begin to notice one thing, it's very quiet, so quiet as a matter of fact, you can hear the leaves ,acorns, and branches hit the ground around you. The air is crisp, the leaves provide a cushion for your footsteps, and you remind yourself to be even more careful, especially as you approach a little watering hole. A spot your grandpa told you, he showed to your father, who in turn, is showing it to you, which is exactly the kind of place fish-eating creek is.The kind of place where generations are raised, each family member coming to to get some peace and quiet in their own way. This day though, is like no other, because you get to see a big old swamp buck ,and his doe, cautiously moving about the woods. This is what makes it so important to preserve this kind of natural beauty, as it effects everyone in some way or another.

Welcome to my gallery. I am Daniel Butler, born in Okeechobee, Florida. I have been, since I was old enough to walk and comprehend my surroundings, interested in the wonders nature constantly provides. My father Hall of Fame/ Highwayman artist "Robert Butler", was the main influence in my desire to become an artist. I remember fondly the family outings we all [11 of us], enjoyed so much. Hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking were activities we looked forward to after school. To me, there's nothing better than an early fog filled walk in the woods, standing still listening to the quiet around me, smelling the rich earthiness.
